Project Scope: Shackletons delivered a complete furniture solution for Bellerose Manor, supporting the project from design development through to final installation.
A Complete Furniture Solution for Luxury Senior Living
Bellerose Manor is a 74-bedroom luxury care home in Leicestershire, designed to combine contemporary style with classic character. Alongside its en-suite bedrooms, the home includes lounges, reading areas, a bistro, a private dining room, a cinema, a bar, and a hairdressing salon.
Working with Sanders Senior Living and 3 over 5 design, Shackletons delivered a complete furniture solution across the home, from bespoke design and UK manufacture through to delivery, placement and installation.
The project included:
- Bespoke cabinetry across 74 bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms
- Upholstered, dining and occasional furniture
- Furniture for reception, five dayrooms and specialist communal spaces
- Made-to-measure curtains, pelmets, tie-backs, cushions and bed runners
- On-site surveys and measurements
- Delivery, placement and installation
- Project management throughout
Bespoke Bedroom Furniture
A bespoke bedroom collection was developed specifically for Bellerose Manor, incorporating fitted media units with built-in wardrobes alongside stand-alone wardrobes, bedside cabinets, dressers and coordinating bathroom cabinetry.
The furniture features routed detailing and elegant cornicing, finished in Platinum Vintage Oak with contrasting Cashmere fronts, creating a warm, classic scheme that complements the wider interiors.
Three bedroom colour schemes were completed with coordinating soft furnishings, while Valencia High Back Chairs and Ealing Club Chairs provided comfortable resident seating.

Furniture Throughout the Home
Shackletons also supplied furniture and soft furnishings throughout the communal areas. The reception features Brompton sofas alongside Hicks and Paxton occasional furniture, while the five dayrooms include a combination of Orto Luxe seating, Lubeck and Visby occasional tables, Rye dining chairs, Hamilton dining tables and Linford console tables.
The furniture package continued through the café, cinema, private dining room and corridors, helping create a consistent and welcoming character across the home.
Bespoke cabinetry was manufactured at our Leeds factory, with upholstered furniture produced at our Dewsbury site. Our teams also managed on-site surveys, soft furnishing manufacture and fitting, loose furniture placement and cabinetry installation, providing one coordinated service through to completion.
