Lindsey Hall Nursing Home is a 79-bed nursing home which opened on the 19th September 2016. The home provides nursing, residential and dementia care, plus respite and day care stay.
In order to provide the different types of care, the Home is split into three units, with 38 beds for nursing and residential care and two smaller units to care for residents suffering from dementia-related illnesses.
The original school building has been completely retained and has created fantastic lounges and dining rooms as well as an internal street scene. The street scene, which has become the heart of the home, includes an internal bowls green, bandstand and seven shop fronts for reminiscence. These include a general store, music store, antique shop, beach hut, florists and guest house. The arcade has working facilities including an old-fashioned pub, cinema, post office, hair and beauty salon, café and shop.
The Home also has 4 private sensory gardens with allotments, themed areas and outdoor artificial bowls green.
