In aid of the Keep It Up campaign, which raises money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Huddersfield Town Football Club Academy, the charity ride began midday from the Emirates Stadium, cycling to Cambridge, Leicester and Doncaster in time for the last home game of the season against Leicester City on Saturday 26 April 2014.

The YAA relies solely on the generosity of the public to help save lives across the region. Since October 2002 the charity has flown nearly 5,200 people directly to hospitals across the region and requires £9990 per day to keep their helicopters in the air.
