THE CHASE CARE HOME
HUNTINGDON, CAMBRIDGESHIRE
The Chase is a brand-new, state-of-the-art purpose-built care home set in the idyllic market town of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The project contractor was Kilworth Interiors with interior design by Three Nine Designs. The Chase is a luxury care facility offering residential, nursing and dementia care. The home has been designed to bring new levels of luxury to residents with 61 luxury private en-suite bedrooms and boasts premium facilities including an on-site bistro, cinema room, private dining rooms and a health spa.
The project team selected a range of upholstered furniture, dining furniture and occasional tables from Shackletons throughout the home including reception, lounges, dining rooms, bistro, bar, cinema and bedrooms. The interior is inspired by the local area and its horse racing roots. A variety of high-quality styles of traditional and contemporary furniture were chosen to match the brief.
As part of the project, Shackletons designed two pieces of bespoke banquette seating for the dining and bistro areas. The banquette seating was designed by Shackletons in-house design team working closely with the project teams at Kilworth Interiors and Three Nine Designs to create luxury seating to match the exquisite décor for the open planned dining and event spaces. Once the designs had been agreed and the fabrics chosen, the banquette seating was handcrafted and upholstered at our factory in Dewsbury and fitted on-site by our installations team.
