Care personalities keep it up for charity

Senior healthcare professionals from Shackletons and the Decs Group will be pedalling for pounds and keeping those bicycle seats warm when they take on a 240 mile bike ride challenge across Yorkshire.
Terming themselves as the Clean Shaven Bikers, these familiar care sector faces have signed up for the Pedal for Pounds bike ride in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance ‘Keep it Up’ campaign. The ride will start in Huddersfield on the 1st of May and follow a route which takes in Hull, Scarborough and Harrogate before making its way back to Huddersfield on Saturday the 4th.Jason Bloom, Sales Manager at Shackletons says: “We’re hoping to raise four thousand pounds for the YAA campaign. It costs £7,200 per day to keep this life saving service fully operational. We can all appreciate the good work they do and what an asset they are to the emergency services in our region.”
