The newly refurbished care home underwent an overhaul to achieve an open and modern facility that would provide residents with more privacy, comfort and overall dignity through the use of design.
Shackletons were tasked with refurbishing the 35 bed residential home’s new communal lounge/diner extension with lounging and dining chairs, occasional tables and curtains for the finishing touches.
Kevin O’Sullivan Managing Director of Peregrine House says: “A plan to transform our care home with structural re-configuration needed a look to complement the structural transformation we had achieved.
“In short we had the look of a care home and ended up with the look of a quality hotel. Residents and their families have been overjoyed with the results. Shackletons listened, provided fabulous design suggestions and helped us visualise the final look.”
