Number One Studio selected Shackletons furniture for a busy dementia unit at Newton Hall Care Home. Newton Hall is an impressive period building of local interest, surrounded by stunning views of countryside, on the outskirts of Frodsham, Cheshire.
Designing a scheme for a busy dementia unit has its challenges. Style and comfort are needed to work hand in hand with practicality and the most durable products. Shackletons provided a range of upholstered, occasional and dining furniture for the entrance hall, lounge, dining room, bar and music room.
In the communal areas, Toledo dining chairs were paired with the Stamford dining tables to offer a mix of seating options. To maximise space in the residents lounge, music room and entrance hall, the Edinburgh wingback chair was selected with its neat and stylish design.
The Brompton sofa was chosen to create a relaxed seating area in the bar and new life was injected into the dining room with the Sienna dining chairs finished in Dark Sorano alongside the practical and durable SH dining tables.
