Where: Ashbrook Care Home, Coalisland, Co. Tyrone.
What: The brief required Shackletons to provide bespoke seating solutions for the home’s new interior.
Purpose: To reflect the care home’s comfort and peace philosophy.
Creating Comfort: An extension and refurbishment project at Ashbrook care home, in Dungannon in Northern Ireland, required its comfort and peace philosophy to be reflected in how the home’s new interior would appear and feel.
Shackletons were chosen to supply bespoke sized lounge and dining seating, footstools and dining tables in a mix of contemporary and classic themes and in a range of upholstery finishes.
Seamus Mulgrew, Director at Ashbrook Care Home, said: “We provide the full scope of care services, from residential and nursing to respite and convalescent care. It was important for us to work with a company that had a full understanding of the care requirements we fulfill and the comfort needs of our residents. Shackletons really did grasp this and provided an attention to detail service that delivered.”
In addition, Shackletons helped with little touches such as comfy occasional seating for quiet spots to offer the full relaxation chair experience for those looking for a time-out.
Seamus continued: “I just wanted to say thanks for all your help regarding the order. The chairs and furniture are brilliant – we are very pleased both with your products and the customer service we received.”
